What a Deep Oven Clean Involves
A deep oven clean is a complete strip-down of the oven, not a wipe of the surfaces you can reach. The door comes off and is split so the glass can be cleaned between the panes. Racks, trays, side runners and the fan cover come out and are cleaned separately while the cavity is treated. Burnt-on carbon on the roof and floor of the oven is lifted rather than scrubbed, so the enamel is not scratched.
Most single ovens take 60 to 90 minutes. Double ovens and range cookers take longer because there are two cavities and more removable parts. The oven can be used as soon as we leave: the products we use are non-caustic, so there is no smell on the first heat and no waiting period.

How long does a deep oven clean take?
Usually 60 to 90 minutes for a single oven and 90 minutes to two hours for a double oven or range cooker. We give you an estimate when you book.
Can I use the oven straight after?
Yes. We use non-caustic, fume-free products, so there is no smell on the first heat and nothing to wait for.
Do you clean between the door glass?
Yes. The door is removed and the panes are separated, which is the only way to clear the brown staining that builds up between them.
Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
Only make sure the oven is cold and that we can get to it. We bring everything else, including floor protection.
Is the deep clean the same as the same-day service?
Same-day is the same clean, just booked for today. Same-day slots depend on availability; book before 2 PM for the best chance.
